We are partnering with a welcoming mainstream primary school in North Somerset who are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a pupil with additional needs. This is a long term position beginning in September, working closely with the child to support their learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.

- Pay: starting from £92.26 per day (depending on experience)

Person specification:
- Experience working with children with additional needs, either in a school or care setting
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Understanding of SEND and the ability to follow individual support plans
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with the pupil, teachers, parents and colleagues
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare, Education or a related field is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
