Tower Hamlets that is seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Have
- Team Teach certification (ESSENTIAL)
- Previous experience working in a specialist SEN school or SEN provision
- Confidence supporting pupils with Autism and challenging behaviour
- Experience delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Your Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day.
- Assist with learning activities inside and outside the classroom.
- Use Team Teach strategies to positively manage behaviour.
- Encourage communication, independence and confidence.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and parents to support individual learning plans.
- Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
