A friendly and well-established nursery in Redbridge is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Room Leader or Senior Practitioner ready to step into a leadership role within a supportive nursery environment.

The Role

  • Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations
  • Lead the nursery in the Manager’s absence
  • Support and motivate staff across the nursery
  • Ensure EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety standards are maintained
  • Assist with staffing ratios, room organisation, and planning
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification essential
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, or Deputy Manager
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
  • Positive, hands-on leadership approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
