Total People, one of the UK’s leading apprenticeship providers and part of LTE Group, now have an exciting opportunity for talented professionals to come and join our team in the position of Adult Skills Learning Coach.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of a close-knit team, to provide the best experience for our learners , to create opportunities for them and to be the best they can be! This role is permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis. This is predominantly a classroom-based role where you will be teaching learners in one of our centres.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting a number of learners to help them gain new skills and progress in their careers. We offer a holistic organisation approach meaning you can support businesses with their specific recruitment needs to embed new skills and support them in retaining and developing talent.
As a Learning Coach working for Total People we can guarantee variety, support, and a great company to work for! You will predominantly be working out of our Manchester centres. Although you will be working independently you will be part of a supportive and experienced team, so help is always on hand. Our teams get together both virtually and in one of our many centres on a regular basis.
The key responsibilities of this role are as follows:
To deliver adult skills courses within Greater Manchester on our Adult Skills Funding. To work closely with learners referred to us for our large employer projects, which enables learners to become economically active citizens within the GMCA and supports the local agenda to get local people into local jobs. In order to be successful in your application you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
- Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications, and/or current updated CPD
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent
- Experience of coaching to support learning
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
And if you meet the following desirable criteria even better:
- Level 4 Qualifications
- Teaching and/or assessing qualification
- 34 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, plus birthday day off
