Provide Education are looking for people who are wanting a role working with young people in a Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) setting.   Are you the type of person who: -Is able to relate to Young People that benefit from a flexible approach? -Can think quickly on their feet? -Is resilient and energetic to work with Young People? -Can stick to boundaries and ensure young people understand society when they leave?   Qualities the school are looking for: Previous Teaching Assistant experience (not essential) Understanding strong behaviour management through either personal or professional roles Passionate about making a difference to some of the most vulnerable children A team player with a sense of humour Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle as you may be asked to go out and about with pupils.  The school specialises in supporting students from year 2 – year 13 with SEMH needs and within this role you’ll be working on a1:1or small group basis. As well as English, Maths and Science, the school offer a wide range of vocational subjects including, Animal Care (with their own on site farming area), Hair and Beauty, Construction, Welding, Engineering and more, meaning this is an incredible opportunity. This role as a Teaching Assistant is perfect for anybody with experience or interests in: -Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant / Learning Mentor -Youth Worker -Sports Coach / Activity instructor -Counsellor   When registering with us, we require a full career history from date of leaving school, references from roles within the past two years (where gaps of employment occur, character references will be needed), a valid, clear DBS on the Update Service.
