Qualities the school are looking for: Previous Teaching Assistant experience (not essential) Understanding strong behaviour management through either personal or professional roles Passionate about making a difference to some of the most vulnerable children A team player with a sense of humour Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle as you may be asked to go out and about with pupils. The school specialises in supporting students from year 2 – year 13 with SEMH needs and within this role you’ll be working on a1:1or small group basis. As well as English, Maths and Science, the school offer a wide range of vocational subjects including, Animal Care (with their own on site farming area), Hair and Beauty, Construction, Welding, Engineering and more, meaning this is an incredible opportunity.
