We are looking for an experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a busy nursery/primary setting in the Woodhouse area from Easter through to the end of the Summer term (July). This is a full-time role supporting a growing cohort of children during a busy period.
The Role: You will support teachers and nursery staff in delivering high-quality early years education, helping children develop and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with children and can adapt to the needs of a busy classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers with daily EYFS activities and lessons
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for children
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Assist with routines, organisation, and preparation of the learning environment
- Adapt quickly to the needs of children and staff
Requirements:
- Level 3 EYFS or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Experience working in an EYFS or Early Years setting
- Ability to form positive relationships with children and colleagues
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive
Hours: Full-time, typically 8:30am – 3:30pm (including lunch). Any variations will be confirmed in advance.
