We are seeking an experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a busy nursery/primary setting in Gainsborough. This full-time role has become available to support a growing number of children during a particularly busy period.
The Role:
You will work closely with teachers and nursery staff to support high-quality early years provision, helping children learn, develop, and feel secure in a nurturing environment. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys a hands-on approach and can adapt to the pace of a busy EYFS setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily EYFS activities and classroom learning
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where required
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Assist with routines, organisation, and classroom preparation
- Respond flexibly to the needs of children and staff
Requirements:
- Level 3 EYFS or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
- Previous experience in an EYFS or Early Years setting
- Strong relationship-building skills with children and colleagues
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
Hours: Full-time, typically 8:30am – 3:30pm, including a lunch break. Any changes will be confirmed in advance.
