Provide Education is seeking an Engagement and Learning Mentor for an Alternative Provision in Alfreton.

Full-time, Monday – Friday; £14.25 – 15 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2.
  • Support young people’s learning both on and offsite under the guidance of a tutor.
  • Improve the quality of learning and foster participation of students in school life with a focus on social, emotional and mental health and personal development.
  • Liaise with other professionals, working on a ratio of 2 students to 3 staff members.
  • Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management using relevant behaviour systems.
  • Communicate with parents and carers when necessary.
  • Record progress sessions.
