About the Role: Are you looking to make a positive impact in education and support students' academic progress? We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team and help maintain continuity in the classroom when teachers are absent. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing students, ensuring they stay on task, and supporting their learning in a variety of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that work is completed on time and to a high standard
- Provide classroom management to maintain a safe, productive, and respectful learning environment
- Follow lesson plans left by the absent teacher, ensuring continuity of learning for all students
- Support students in academic tasks, offering guidance and encouragement where needed
- Assist in behaviour management and implement school policies to ensure a positive atmosphere
- Liaise with the teaching staff and leadership team to ensure that students are effectively supported during lessons
- Maintain accurate records of student behaviour and progress during the cover session
Qualifications:
