We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. Whether you’re covering for teacher absence, supporting short-term/ long-term needs, or assisting with special projects, we are looking for someone who can make a positive impact on our students’ learning and development., As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for stepping into various classrooms and delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects and age groups. You will be expected to follow lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a productive learning environment while maintaining the school’s standards. The role will involve short-term or long-term assignments ranging from one day to several weeks, depending on the needs of the school., * Deliver planned lessons across various subjects and age groups, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

  • Follow lesson plans and adjust teaching methods as needed to suit the students’ needs.

  • Maintain student engagement and ensure active participation during lessons.

  • Monitor and track students’ progress and report any concerns to senior staff.

  • Promote inclusivity, positive behaviour, and respect for others within the classroom.

  • Ensure the classroom is a safe and orderly environment for learning.

  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure smooth transitions between lessons and to ensure continuity in students’ learning.

  • Comply with the school’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting.

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching strategies.

  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.

  • Passionate about education and supporting students’ learning and development.

  • Ability to engage students in learning and motivate them to achieve their best.
