Responsibilities as a SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide support and assistance for SEND pupils in line with the schools requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Represent Teachers Together with professionalism and integrity at all times
  • Provide constructive feedback as required

Requirements to be a SEND Teaching Assistant via Teachers Together:

  • Proof of any relevant experience
  • 5 years worth of references
  • A current enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (if not currently held, Teachers Together will introduce you to a partner that will be able to help)
