Main Responsibilities:

  • Depending on your expertise and experience, you will teach a range of KS3 and possibly KS4 classes alongside colleagues of the highest calibre in the delivery of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics.
  • There is potential to teach KS5 in the future.
  • We are seeking a colleague willing to inspire and motivate our younger KS3 students in this subject area, hoping to continue the growth of the subject at both KS4 and KS5.
  • A small element of PSHE teaching sits with this post.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Required from September 2026 a highly motivated member of staff with specialist subject knowledge and interest in teaching Philosophy, Religion and Ethics.
  • You will have, or be developing, outstanding teaching practice in addition to having a commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills and be innovative and enthusiastic.
