Location: WISE Campus

FTE Salary: Up to £28,050.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)

Actual Salary: Up to £24,965.97

Contract Type: Full time, Permanent and Term-Time Only

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

We're looking for a passionate, organised and people-focused individual to join our Additional Learning Support team as an EHCP & Annual Review Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with SEND experience who is ready to develop their skills, build confidence in leading multi-agency meetings, and grow their knowledge of EHCPs and statutory processes. You'll work closely with learners, families and professionals, helping young people achieve their goals and prepare for adulthood. Whether you're looking to build on existing SEND experience or take the next step in your career, we'll provide training, guidance and development opportunities to help you expand your expertise in this field.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Act as the key liaison for parents, external professionals and internal stakeholders regarding learner progress.
  • Chair EHCP Annual Review meetings and ensure all reviews are completed within statutory timescales.
  • Prepare and submit Annual Review documentation in line with statutory guidance and audit requirements.
  • Gather and present high-quality evidence and feedback from curriculum teams to support annual reviews.
  • Write, review and amend EHCP outcomes, ensuring they are SMART and aligned to Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) guidance.
  • Work closely with the ALS Manager, curriculum teams and external professionals to support learner progression and pathway planning.

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience of working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Knowledge of EHCPs, the Annual Review process and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Ability to confidently chair meetings and communicate effectively with learners, families and professionals.
  • Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to use initiative, solve problems and work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
