The opportunityÂ
St Aloysius’ College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and knowledgeable Sports Coach who will be responsible for delivering rugby sessions across our Junior and Senior schools.Â
How you will make an impactÂ
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the College. Â Working closely with the Director of Rugby to develop all aspects of the rugby programme, you will be engaging, personable, knowledgeable, confident and passionate about coaching rugby and inspiring young people to be the best they can be.Â
As a creative and innovative coach, you will actively seek ways to increase participation in Rugby and improve performance. Â You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality coaching sessions, ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants is key.Â
What you need to succeedÂ
You will be required to coach, referee and supervise teams during competitive matches.
You will have excellent communication, organisational and planning skills and have the ability to be adaptable, flexible and work as part of a team. Â It is essential that you hold a UKCC Level 2 Rugby Union qualification or equivalent and working towards Level 3. Â Many of our fixtures take place at the weekend, therefore weekend working will be required.
