The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking an experienced and conscientious administrator to join our school-wide administration team working predominantly with our Support for Learning Department. The post involves working with both Junior and Senior School Support for Learning Teams, and, as such, time is split evenly across both school campuses.

This role would be particularly suitable for someone with experience of working within a school environment with an awareness of additional support needs. The role is available from the end of August, 2026. Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role therefore applicants must have the right to work via other means.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the day to day running of the Support for Learning (SfL) Department, providing admin support to everyone within it
  • Use of the different elements of Office 365 such as Word, Excel, Teams, Forms and SharePoint.
  • Working with the SfL module of our school data management system and keeping this data up to date.
  • Working with our interactive learning platform and updating/creating information pages.
  • Keeping pupil files updated with feedback, assessments etc.
  • Admin relating to standardised testing within the SfL Department and assessments from external agencies.
  • Admin relating to exam assessment arrangements.
  • Co-ordinating meetings and supporting with taking of minutes.
  • Assisting with pupil assessments held in the SfL Department.

Ideal Candidate:

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong organisational skills and are comfortable working to deadlines
  • Highly proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience of maintaining databases
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An eye for detail, with good typing speed and accuracy
  • A love of working as part of a busy team
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills, including using new ICT packages and equipment (such as iPads in addition to PCs)
  • The ability to think outside the box, and enjoy looking for ways to improve ways of working and efficiency
  • A genuine interest in education and working around young people
