Package Description: Clerical Assistant £25,441 (pro rata) Part Time (2 – 3 days per week) Fixed Term to June 2027

The Opportunity

In this interesting and varied role, you’ll be an integral member of the central administrative team, providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to all academic and non-academic departments. We are flexible with regards to the number of days (2 – 3), ideally looking to fill a full year vacancy, but will consider Term Time working.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Updating and maintaining accurate information on College databases
  • Managing multiple schedules, calendars and email inboxes
  • Assisting in the preparation of materials for meetings and events
  • Providing reception cover as the first point of contact

What you need to succeed

Ideally educated to Higher level, you must be able to demonstrate proven administrative experience, preferably within an educational or public sector environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Highly organised with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines, you must also be able to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships at all levels. Sound experience in MS Office packages including Word, Excel, Power Point and databases, is essential. The post holder will be expected to assist at College events as required which may be out of hours.
