In this interesting and varied role, you will be an integral member of the Finance team who will oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable across all College operations including tuition fee income, wraparound care fees, childcare vouchers, refectory cards, exam fees, school buses and trips/activities.
You will ensure that all funds are received accurately and timeously through ownership of internal protocols and develop process improvements both within the College and any external agencies. Your responsibilities will include producing the termly fee bills for tuition fees, credit control and the reconciliation of income receipts, debit/credit cards and cash using the school MIS systems. In addition, you will produce progress reports for senior management and undertake reconciliations, ledger analysis and any other financial tasks as delegated by the Finance Manager.
What you need to succeed:
- Higher level in English and Maths (or a Business Studies or Accounts related subject)
- Ideally have previous experience of investigative work and debt recovery
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as this role will require significant liaison with parents and external agencies
- A team player, highly organised with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Sound experience in MS Office packages including Word, Excel and databases is essential
