TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small, welcoming nursery in York that is looking to appoint a Nursery Room Leader. The nursery has a friendly and supportive team environment, encourages staff wellbeing through regular team social events, and even offers an extra day’s holiday to celebrate your birthday.
The nursery is looking to take on a full-time Nursery Room Leader with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Room Leader will lead a nursery room, support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS, and work closely with colleagues to provide the highest standard of care and education.
The successful Nursery Room Leader will have:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working within an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Experience leading or supporting a nursery room
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive and caring approach
