Our Teaching Assistants play a vital role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Teaching Assistant doesn’t include planning and preparation; however, strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
- Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
- Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
