TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Bridgwater, supporting with their recruitment for a SEND Learning Support Assistant. The school supports pupils across all Key Stages, all of whom have an Education Health and Care Plan. The provision creates a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and communication skills while accessing a tailored curriculum suited to their individual needs.

The school is looking to appoint a part-time SEND Learning Support Assistant to work 3 days per week on a long-term basis. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will be supporting pupils with Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, visual and hearing impairments, and Autistic Spectrum Condition. The role will involve supporting pupils within the classroom, assisting with communication and sensory needs, and helping children engage positively.
