We are currently recruiting passionate and reliable SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of primary, secondary, and specialist schools. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work while making a meaningful impact supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a variety of SEND needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD)
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Adapt to different school settings and student needs with confidence

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (in schools, care, or support settings)
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Health & Social Care) desirable but not essential
