Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity within a supportive secondary school? Do you have the ability to teach both Food Technology and Child Development across Key Stages 3 and 4? Are you an early career teacher, qualified teacher or experienced instructor looking to become part of a welcoming school community?

The school is looking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher on a full-time 12-month maternity cover basis starting in June. The successful Food Technology Teacher will also be expected to teach Child Development as part of the timetable and will benefit from the full support of the Technology department and experienced department support staff throughout the role.

Qualifications:
  • QTS or relevant experience as an Instructor
  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting
  • The ability to teach Child Development as part of the timetable
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A positive and engaging approach to learning
  • The willingness to contribute to wider school life
