TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and vibrant 3-form entry primary school in Plumstead for a General Teaching Assistant to join their team from mid-September. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a large, supportive school with a strong leadership team, excellent facilities, and a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
You'll work alongside experienced teachers across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting learning in the classroom, delivering small group interventions, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working within a UK primary school.
- Be confident supporting pupils across a range of abilities.
- Be proactive, reliable and eager to get involved in all aspects of school life.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Be passionate about helping children develop both academically and socially.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
