TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEN school based in Oxford, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN TA. The school supports pupils across primary and secondary ages, providing a nurturing and structured environment for children and young people with SEMH and ASD.
The school is looking to take on a SEN TA on a long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful SEN TA will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping with behaviour support, classroom engagement and ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
The successful SEN TA will have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN needs
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and ASD
- Confidence providing 1:1 support and behaviour support
- A patient, calm and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills
- A willingness to work across primary and secondary ages
