About the role
The school is looking to appoint a full-time permanent SEND Teacher from September. The successful SEND Teacher will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver engaging and personalised learning experiences, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs whilst promoting independence, wellbeing and achievement across the curriculum.
Qualifications
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience working within a SEND or specialist educational setting
- Knowledge and understanding of ASC, complex learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties
- Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills
- Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
- A patient, resilient and nurturing approach to teaching
