TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming SEND school in Bristol supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. The school has a happy and friendly team of staff, a Good OFSTED rating and provides ongoing CPD and additional training to support staff development.
The school is looking to take on a SEND LSA from September 2026 on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to continue for the right person.
The successful SEND LSA will support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, helping them engage with their learning while maintaining a positive, structured and supportive environment.
The successful SEND LSA will have:
- Team Teach qualification or equivalent
- Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
- Experience managing challenging behaviour in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills
- A patient and resilient approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
