TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic Primary School based in Bristol, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant 1:1. This child-centred school has been awarded an Outstanding OFSTED rating and is known for its welcoming environment, inclusive ethos and excellent Senior Leadership Team support. The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant 1:1 on a full-time basis for a 1-year contract starting in September.

The successful Teaching Assistant 1:1 will be working closely with a child with additional needs, supporting both academic and emotional development throughout the school day. The role would particularly suit a Psychology Graduate or Sports Graduate looking to gain valuable school-based experience before progressing into teaching or educational psychology.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis, supporting academic and emotional development throughout the school day.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support inclusive practices and student progress.
