SEND Teaching Assistant Full Time Immediate Start

Salary: £90 £110 per day

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join this outstanding team. Whether you\’re looking for day-to-day flexibility or a long-term role, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Work alongside teachers and other professionals to implement individual learning and communication plans
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Support pupils with personal care, mobility, and emotional regulation as needed
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour through consistent routines and structure

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills are essential both verbal and non-verbal
• Experience working with SEND students or within a special school setting is desirable but not essential
• A caring, patient, and resilient nature
• Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am 3:30pm)
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
