TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Newcastle to recruit a dedicated Secondary Teacher. The school is committed to providing a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching, strong pastoral support and an inclusive school culture.
The school is looking to appoint a qualified Secondary Teacher on a temporary basis from September. The successful Secondary Teacher will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging lessons
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Assessing student progress
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students
The successful Secondary Teacher will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- A positive, adaptable and proactive approach to teaching
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
