TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery setting in Leicester. The nursery provides a nurturing and engaging environment, focusing on play-based learning and supporting children to achieve their early learning goals within a safe and structured setting. The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work shifts between 8am and 6pm, supporting children through small group work, continuous provision and personal care, while applying strong knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and early learning goals.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
- Level 3 or Level 2 Childcare qualification, or 6 months plus relevant Early Years experience
- Experience working within an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and early learning goals
- Understanding of continuous provision and play-based learning
- Experience supporting children with personal care and small group activities
- A positive, flexible and ‘can-do’ attitude
