We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive early years setting in Westminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and supporting their learning and development in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
  • Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times

Requirements

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Basic understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, patient, and reliable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
