TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private nursery in Maidstone that is looking to appoint a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner in a room leader capacity. The nursery is home to a long-standing, experienced team who work together to provide exceptional care and learning opportunities, while fostering a supportive, professional and family-oriented working environment.
The nursery is looking to appoint a full-time Level 3 Early Years Practitioner on a long-term basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The successful Level 3 Early Years Practitioner will be based within the pre-school room, leading the team, supporting children as they prepare for their transition into primary education through engaging, play-based learning, while remaining calm, understanding and focused in a busy environment. This is a long-term role, with a view to becoming permanent.
The successful Level 3 Early Years Practitioner will have:
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Experience working within a pre-school or Early Years setting
- A calm, patient and understanding approach to supporting children's learning and development
- A professional attitude with a positive can-do approach and the ability to work effectively as part of an established team
- Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene or other relevant childcare qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
