TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private nursery in the NG2 area of Nottingham. The setting is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join its friendly Early Years team and help provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment.
The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate, working full-time or part-time for over 30 hours per week.
The successful Nursery Assistant will support with daily nursery assistant duties, including:
- Supervising children
- Planning age-appropriate activities
- Maintaining a safe environment
- Supporting children’s learning and development
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
- A caring and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
