TeacherActive is proud to be working with a wonderful Welsh-medium Primary School in Neath, who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference in their education journey.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils across KS1
- Assisting with classroom preparation, learning materials, and displays
- Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
- Have experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
- Be caring, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting pupils' development
- Hold a relevant qualification in education or childcare (or be willing to work towards one)
