Welsh-Medium Level 2–3 Teaching Assistant – Llanelli

The Role
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive Welsh-medium lessons
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
- Assist learners with a range of learning needs and abilities
- Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) where required
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours
- Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support classroom activities, interventions, and learning programmes
- Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and the wider school team
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Fluent Welsh speaker – essential
- Experience working within a Welsh-medium education setting is desirable
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Experience supporting pupils with ALN is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
