Do you have experience supporting learners on a 1:1 basis outside of a school environment? Can you deliver personalised, structured learning plans in a calm, supportive setting? Do you have the patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm to help pupils achieve their academic goals?

TeacherActive, one of the UK’s leading education recruitment agencies, is currently seeking a dedicated Home Tutor to support the learning and development of children and young people across Warwickshire. We are working in partnership with a major Local Authority that prioritises high-quality education for students aged 6 to 18.

We are looking for a positive, committed Tutor to begin immediately, supporting learners across core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science, as well as the broader primary/secondary curriculum. Hours are flexible and you will be delivering engaging 1:1 tuition within the learner’s home or an appropriate community setting.

The successful Tutor will be confident in working across Key Stage 1 (KS1) to Key Stage 5 (KS5), helping learners to progress, build confidence, and meet their individual academic targets.

The successful Tutor will have:

  • Experience providing 1:1 or small-group academic support
  • A calm, patient, and professional approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection guidelines
