TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schools that are currently looking for Qualified Primary Teachers, who are looking for more working flexibility to provide day-to-day cover, working across KS1 and KS2. You will be working with a warm and positive team in Warrington, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach to learning. The setting looks after up to 30 children in each classroom, with both indoor and outdoor areas split into age-appropriate sections and provide sensory enhancing activities. The school ensures that the children can challenge themselves and take risks in a safe and secure environment, to aid learning in a positive manner.

We are looking for Qualified Primary Teachers, who are looking to expand their knowledge of the local schools in the area, and work flexibly on a day-to-day basis. You may be required to cover across both Key Stage 1 and 2.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day cover across KS1 and KS2 depending on school needs.
  • Engage learners with a therapeutic approach to learning and foster a positive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with school teams to support inclusive learning opportunities.

  • Child enhanced DBS (registered on the update service)
  • ‘Can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in
