Overview

West Midlands/ temporary / £160 - 200 per day. TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEMH provision based in Willenhall. The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. Underpinning this is the consistent teaching of people skills and guidance to assist children in developing their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Position

The school is looking to take on a temporary SEMH Teacher immediately on a full-time basis. The successful SEND teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 – 16 years. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.

Requirements

  • QTS
  • Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically SEMH, ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD
  • Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
