TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Primary HLTA. The school provides a welcoming and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
The school is looking for a confident Primary HLTA to provide day-to-day cover with an Immediate Start. The successful Primary HLTA will support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2, assisting with learning activities, leading groups and providing classroom cover where required.
The successful Primary HLTA will have:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification
- Experience working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2
- Experience supporting teaching and learning within a primary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach
