Are you an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager looking for a new opportunity within a supportive private day nursery? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery based in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint a Deputy Nursery Manager on a permanent basis. The nursery provides a warm and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and creativity, while staff are supported to progress within their careers.

The nursery is looking to take on a proactive Deputy Nursery Manager to work full-time, 40 hours per week. The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will support with the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained across all rooms while supporting children from early years age groups. The role will involve supporting staff development, maintaining safeguarding standards, and building positive relationships with parents and carers.

The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will have:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Previous experience working within a nursery leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of early years education and development
