The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 on a part-time basis from September. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils across the primary age range, providing targeted support with reading and writing while working alongside the class teacher to help raise attainment and encourage pupil engagement.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working within a UK primary school
- Experience supporting children with reading and writing interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting children
- The ability to work effectively as part of a school team
