Are you a qualified primary teacher seeking part-time employment? Do you generally have availability for two to three days per week? Are you adaptable and comfortable working across all age groups? TeacherActive is currently recruiting primary teachers for part-time roles within the Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) area. We have a cluster of schools across Tonypandy, Treorchy and Ystrad that require teaching cover, primarily during the latter half of the week (Wednesday to Friday) but can also be Monday and Tuesday. All of these schools are warm, welcoming environments that collaborate closely with our consultants to ensure every member of staff feels supported and valued.
About the Role
The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the curriculum and demonstrate flexibility in teaching across a range of age groups. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young minds and positively influence pupils’ attitudes towards learning through creative and engaging teaching methods. Schools expect all teachers to maintain excellent classroom management skills to uphold high standards of learning.
