Are you a qualified Trainer Assessor with experience supporting learners within Engineering? Do you hold a recognised Assessor Award qualification? Can you confidently liaise with employers and learners to assess workplace competencies and support successful outcomes?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large Further and Higher Education college in Warwickshire with an excellent reputation for vocational education and training. Following a recent Ofsted inspection highlighting its strong focus on students and industry needs, the college continues to provide learning experiences designed to develop wider skills and improve outcomes for its students.
The college is looking to appoint a Trainer Assessor in Engineering on a temporary basis, with the contract expected to run until November, although the final end date is to be confirmed.
The successful Trainer Assessor in Engineering will work closely with employers and learners, assessing competencies within the workplace and supporting learners to successfully progress through their Engineering programmes.
The successful Trainer Assessor in Engineering will have:
- A recognised Assessor Award qualification
- Relevant Engineering qualifications and/or industry experience
- Experience assessing learners within an Engineering or vocational environment
- The ability to assess workplace competencies effectively and accurately
- Strong communication and organisational skills when working with learners and employers
- A motivated, organised and supportive approach
