Are you confident delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons while maintaining excellent classroom management?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large secondary school based in Trafford. The school provides a busy and engaging learning environment and is looking for an enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join their team.
The school is looking to take on a Design and Technology Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while supporting students to develop their practical skills, subject knowledge and confidence.
The successful Design and Technology Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
- Experience teaching Design and Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
