The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a long-term temporary basis starting in September. The successful SEND Teacher will support pupils with Autism (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), delivering engaging lessons while supporting personal care, managing challenging behaviour positively and creating a safe, supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience working with children and young people with ASD and PMLD
- Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
- Confidence providing or overseeing personal care where required
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A patient, resilient and caring approach
