TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Cardiff that supports pupils with Additional Learning Needs. The setting promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment, focusing on developing independence, confidence and life skills for all learners.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated ALN Teacher on a long-term, part-time temporary basis starting from June. The successful ALN Teacher will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons and supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs, ensuring engagement and progression in a supportive classroom environment.
The successful ALN Teacher will have:
- QTS (NQT’s are welcome to apply)
- Experience working with pupils with ALN including ASD, ADHD or learning difficulties
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting learners
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- A proactive and positive attitude
