Are you confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour across KS3 / KS4? Do you have strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt across different subjects? Do you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport for travelling to schools across the Teesside area?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream secondary schools across Teesside. The schools have welcoming and supportive environments, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of behaviour and encouraging students to achieve their full potential across all areas of learning. The schools are looking to take on driven Cover Supervisors on a full-time temporary basis starting ASAP.
The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence covering a range of subjects across KS3 / KS4
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
- A full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport
