Role Overview
The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis.
The successful Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-planned lessons and supervise classes across both Primary and Secondary age groups, supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD and Autism while promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes across Primary and Secondary ages.
- Supervise and manage classroom behaviour.
- Support pupils with SEMH, ADHD, and Autism.
- Promote positive behaviour and create an engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Cover Supervisor or supporting children and young people within an educational setting.
- Confidence managing classroom behaviour and delivering pre-planned lessons.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD and Autism desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, resilient and adaptable approach.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life.
