Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who has taught across both KS1 and KS2? Can you fluently converse in the Welsh Language? Are you looking for flexibility in your work/life balance with zero commitments and fair pay opportunities?

The Primary School are looking for a fluent Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant after half term on a long term basis, potentially ongoing for the full academic year. The successful candidate will need to be able to speak the Welsh language fluently and will need to be experienced working with children across both Foundation phase and Key Stage 2 / KS2. You will need to be flexible between the working times of 08:30am β 15:30pm and be able to get stuck in with the schooling life, ensuring all pupils are engaged in their learning.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils across Foundation phase and KS2 with learning activities in line with school curricula.
- Communicate fluently in Welsh with pupils, staff and parents as required.
- Adapt to flexible working times and contribute to a positive school environment.
- Engage pupils to ensure active participation in lessons and learning activities.
Qualifications
- A Teaching Assistant/Childcare qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with children
- Fluent verbal and written Welsh
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to build valued and trusted relationships with students
- A can-do, positive attitude and approach to their work
- Patience and ability to remain calm under stressful situations
