About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant (TA) for a long-term position, supporting children in the Early Years and Foundation Phase diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will work within a small, supportive class, equipped with a wealth of resources to deliver an engaging and enriching educational experience. Previous experience supporting children with additional learning needs is essential, and experience within Special Resource Bases (SRB) or Additional Learning Needs settings is highly desirable.
Key Requirements
- A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least six months experience working with children in an educational setting
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Experience working one-to-one with children with additional learning needs
